The food was so good. Honestly, the most authentic Mexican food in Lexington. The service is great, and I always get treated like family. I've never had a problem and would recommend this restaurant to anyone. The ambiance is really nice and clean.
I hate when my reviews get out of chronological order (one of my very FEW anal-retentive traits, I promise!!) but things seem to have gotten ahead of me here lately (or is it behind of me?!?) Anyway, this is a hidden GEM in the middle of one of the most AUTHENTIC Mexican barrios I've come across north of the border, and if you can't find what you've got GANAS for here, you're just going to have to make a RUN for the border!! You KNOW this is a great spot because my transplant Mx - Lex friends practically LIVE here in this wonderful, hole in the wall place, and I think I might have been the only GRINGA here during our visit. Tempting menu, full of lots of favorites you won't find in more "Americanized" Mexican restaurants. I enjoyed my usual chile rellenos and my friend had carne asada, two great choices. Wish I lived closer, I'd be here all the time!! Great service, VERY reasonable prices, and SUPER authentic food!! PERFECTO!!
This was my first time at this restaurant and it was so amazing! The waiters were super friendly and the overall environment was great. I got the Gorditas which were 10/10! I got the chicken, barbacoa & al pastor. I think the al pastor and barbacoa were tied for the table's favorites. The chicken was also great, especially with the three salsas they brought out with chips. If you haven't tried this place, make sure to check it out!! I will definitely be returning a lot.
A Lexington native, spent the last 3 years in southern California. I was introduced to some of the best Mexican food I'd ever eaten while in Cali (Al Pastor in particular) and was almost certain I wouldn't find anything close to what I was getting out west. Boy oh boy, was I WRONG. When I came back to Lexington I went taco-crawling in and around the Alexandria area, buying a taco from all 6 or 7 restaurants. They were all very good, but this place stood out and I've been a regular ever since. Authentic and delicious. This is the place to satisfy your craving.
Hidden treasure! Fresh tortilas and authentic Mexican cuisine. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the servers are very polite and friendly. We will be back!

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in town. They're food tastes great and it's a more authentic experience than the Mexican restaurants that cater to the broader audience. Their Tortas are some of the BEST in town. Hands down. I've been to just about every restaurant in the area and this way stays up at the top.
Still a star 5 rating for me. I yet again failed to take a picture of my food, but managed to snap some of the menu. Next time.
